About
Organic chemistry studies organic matter. Organic Conservation keeps it alive.
Organic is founding Organic Conservation, a new field within conservation led by Forest Evergreen van Eeden. Much of conservation protects a specimen, a habitat, or a record. Organic Conservation aims to keep living things living.
Forest's work starts at the base of the system, in Organic Development: an approach to poverty alleviation that builds conservation into communities from the ground up. She works with artificial intelligence and machine learning, most recently on Atlas, an AI-powered research database for science.
About Forest
Forest is a designer and researcher trained in qualitative and quantitative research, data visualization, and prototyping. She built Microbiology Atlas, a planning tool for college microbiology teaching labs, and is preparing for graduate study in genetics.
